One Ring of Fire to Rule Them All

This past weekend was the “annular solar eclipse”, which hopefully many of you got to see. This solar eclipse occurs when the sun is not completely occluded, leaving a “ring of fire” around the edge of the eclipse. Johnny Cash would’ve been so proud.

I have so many Lord of the Rings jokes for this, but I think I’ll keep them to myself…it looks like Sauron might be watching me.
