Like new baby puppies, Elements 114 and 116 have both received their official names from the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. So go ahead and get attached to: Flerovium and Livermorium! Awwwww, who’s a cute element?


But just how to elements go about getting their names? Since The Periodic Table of Videos has been waiting for this day for years... let's allow them to explain the origins of the two newest elements in style. Seriously, nice wig!
