Space: the final frontier. For Starbucks, hotel chains, and sightseeing tours offered in English, German and Japanese.  

Yes, with budget cuts that are literally sky-high, we may be crossing over from the age of space research into the age of something else entirely. Space tourism. Because really, why bother learning about the wonders of the heavens above when you can pose for a flattering photo in front of them!  Stars... pretty.
